Q.	What is a no-decompression diving?
	A.	No-decompression diving is a diving in which a diver does not need decompression stop when ascending. However, nitrogen is accumulated in the diver's body even in this diving, we strongly recommend that he (she) should make a safety stop.
Q.	What is a Decompression Stop?
	A.	Your entire body tissues absorb Nitrogen under pressure. You outgas gradually while ascending to surface, however, if the nitrogen in your body exceeds the limit (M-value), it is locked in your body as bubbles. This nitrogen bubbles is the cause of decompression sickness. To avoid this, the diver must stay at a shallow depth for a certain time to outgas nitrogen. This stop is called Decompression Stop.
Q.	What is an air diving?
	A.	Air diving refers to diving using compressed air having an oxygen concentration of 21%. With Cyber Aqualand Nx, the term Air is used to distinguish it from Nitrox in which the oxygen concentration is 22% or higher.
Q.	What is a Nitrox diving?
	A.	This refers to diving that uses a mixed gas of oxygen and nitrogen that has a higher oxygen concentration than normal air. Nitrox diving reduces the diver's risk of decompression sickness by reducing the nitrogen ratio (%) to a lower level than an ordinary air. However, increasing the oxygen ratio (%) also results in the risk of oxygen toxicity to the diver. If you intend to use your watch for Nitrox diving, make sure that you have received the proper training for Nitrox diving in advance.
Q.	What is the difference between Scuba diving mode and Skin diving mode?
	A.	When the user starts diving, the watch is initially set to the skin diving mode. If the user dives to more than 1m depth for more than 3minutes continuously, the watch is changed to the Scuba diving mode. Even if the user repeats diving shorter than 3 minutes, the watch is not changed to the Scuba diving mode. Cyber Aqualand recognizes these conditions automatically and records them in separate log.
Q.	What is a permanent error?
	A.	A permanent error occurs when the diver ignores a computer warning while diving and continues diving. Although the conditions for the occurrence of a permanent error differ depending on the computer manufacturer and diving algorithm being used, in the case of Cyber Aqualand Nx, a permanent error occurs when the diver violates the decompression stop depth to the shallower depth during decompression diving, or when the decompression stop depth exceeds 9 m. When a permanent error occurs, the entire display flashes during diving. The watch will not switch to the diving mode for 24 hours after diving if a permanent error has occurred.
Q.	In the dive plan mode, NDL times change in a short period of time. Why?
	A.	Cyber Aqualand Nx measures an ambient pressure every five minutes. According to the pressure, it calculates your body nitrogen and NDL time also in every five minutes. Because of this, if the ambient pressure changes, NDL times change accordingly.
	Diving Mode
Q.	Watch does not switch to Dive mode.
	A.	The possible causes are as follows.
		=> Watch is insufficiently charged
		>	The watch cannot be switched to the Dive mode if it is insufficiently charged. Check the energy storage cell level in System Monitor Mode and if the watch is insufficiently charged, charge the watch fully beforehand.
		=> The watch is in Low power mode
		>	If the watch is in the Low Power Mode, it cannot be switched to Dive mode. Push and hold A and D buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds or more to switch to standard mode. When the watch has been switched to the Low Power Mode as a result of being insufficiently charged, charge the watch sufficiently, then switch to standard mode.
		=>	The water sensor check warning ("CHK") is displayed.
		>	The watch cannot be switched to Dive mode while the water sensor check warning is displayed. Remove any debris or moisture from the water sensor with a dry cloth and check that "CHK" is not displayed.
		=> A Permanent Error occurred during the previous dive.
		>	If a permanent error occurs during diving, the watch cannot be switched to the dive mode for 24 hours after completion of that dive.
Q.	Can I switch between scuba diving and skin diving manually?
	A.	No, you cannot.
Q.	Can I use my watch exclusively for skin diving?
	A.	Cyber Aqualand Nx is a diving computer designed for scuba diving. The skin diving mode is merely an accessory function, and as such, it is not recommended to use it exclusively for skin diving.
Q.	Watch is switched to Dive mode while I was not diving. What should I do?
	A.	If the water sensor remains activated by perspiration or other moisture in a high altitude environment subject to rapid changes in air pressure in a short period of time (such as when traveling in an aircraft), when there is a change in air pressure of 100 hPa or more, the depth display may not return to 0 m preventing the dive mode from being canceled even after returning to a low altitude (on the ground).  The watch returns to the time mode of the standard mode when button (D) is pressed for at least 10 seconds.
Q.	At which rate Ascent Rate Warning occurs?
	A.	When the ascent rate is over 18m/min.
Q.	When is the Safety Stop Graph displayed?
	A.	When a diving is made at the depth of 5m plus or minus 2m, the Safety Stop Graph is displayed. A graph should be served as a general reference for changes in depth and the elapsed time during a safety stop.
Q.	What does the body nitrogen level graph indicate?
	A.	This refers to the amount of Nitrogen dissolved in the body as a result of diving. This watch displays a general indicator of the amount of nitrogen dissolved in the body in the form of a bar graph. The higher the level of the black portion of the graph, the greater the body nitrogen level.
Q.	What does "No.1 dive" in the Dive Plan mode mean?
	A.	When there is no residual Nitrogen in your body, No.1 is displayed. The number keeps increasing even if the date changes, as long as there is residual nitrogen in your body during the course of the diving.
Q.	The "CHK" mark was displayed before the diving. What is this?
	A.	If the preliminary dive display continues to be displayed for more than 1 hour after the water sensor has gotten wet, "CHK"(Check) flashed in the lower left corner of the display to inform the wearer that water sensor should be checked. Remove any debris or moisture from the water sensor with a dry cloth.
Q.	The "BATT" mark starts blinking while diving. What does this mean ?
	A.	The watch became insufficiently charged during diving. In this case, none of the alarm sounds. The dive computer function operates normally for about 30 minutes after the "BATT" starts blinking. The log data of this diving is not recorded. If the "BATT" blinks while you are diving, start ascending immediately.
Q.	The "FILE" mark blinked while I was diving. What does this mean?
	A.	If the "FILE" mark blinks, the log is not recorded. The possible causes of blinking this mark are as follows.
		=> The diving data exceeded the capacity.
		>	If the duration of a single dive exceeds 2 hours or if more than 15 dives are made in a single day (15 Skin divings and 15 Scuba divings), the "FILE" mark blinks.
		=> The amount of available memory in flash memory is low.
		>	Perform garbage collection in System Monitor Mode.
		=>The watch is not fully charged and the water temperature is very low.
		>	The performance of flash memory is low. Charge the watch fully when you go diving when the water temperature is low.
Q.	The "ERR" mark and diver mark blinked alternately while I was diving. What does this mean?
	A.	This is Abnormal Depth Warning. When a sudden change in depth of more than 4 m/sec is detected during diving, the watch assumes that the watch has reached an abnormal depth. Once "ERR" has been displayed during diving, it continues to be displayed until you finish its diving. The depth indicator and dive computer function work normally as long as the sensor is normal. After the diving is finished, the abnormal depth warning will be cancelled.
Q.	The "SLOW" mark and turtle mark is displayed while I was diving. What does this mean?
	A.	This is an Ascent Rate Warning.  When the ascent rate during scuba diving exceeds 18 m/min, the ascent rate warning alarm sounds for 5 seconds and "SLOW" and an illustration of a turtle are displayed at the bottom of the display. The ascent rate warning will be canceled when the ascent rate is less than 18 m/min.
Q.	The "ERROR" mark displayed and the entire display flashes while I was diving. What does this mean?
	A.	This is the Permanent Error. It indicates that the diver's body is in danger if he (she) continues this diving. When a permanent error has occurred, ascend to surface while keep stopping at the decompression stop depth. The next dive cannot be made for 24 hours after this diving.
Q.	The watch is switched to Low power mode while I was diving. What does this mean?
	A.	The battery voltage has lowered extremely during diving. After finishing the diving, charge the battery immediately.
Q.	I got a permanent error in the previous dive. Can I dive again soon after this dive?
	A.	No, you cannot. Cyber Aqualand Nx is designed for recreational dives. If the permanent error warning is ignored during the dive, the permanent error occurs and after the dive the watch would not change into dive mode for 24 hours. Please follow the watch instruction during the dive for your safety and do not try to dive for 24 hours when the permanent error occurs in the previous dive.
	Nitrox Diving
Q.	What it the setting range of oxygen concentration for Nitrox diving?
	A.	The oxygen concentration (O2) can be set within a range of 22% to 50% in 1% increment.
Q.	My watch returns to the air mode even though I set it for Nitrox diving. Why?
	A.	The watch automatically returns to the air mode if six hours have elapsed without diving after setting to Nitrox or 30 minutes have elapsed after completing Nitrox diving. This function is provided to prevent risk to dive with Air after Nitrox diving while watch is left to Nitrox setting.
Q.	What is "MAX" displayed in Dive Condition display when it is set to Nitrox?
	A.	Max depth refers to the maximum depth for preventing oxygen toxicity. It is the depth just before the PO2 exceeds 1.6 ATA.
Q.	What is the PO2 limit warning?
	A.	PO2 is the abbreviation for partial pressure of oxygen, and indicates the partial pressure of oxygen in the body. The partial pressure of oxygen in the body increases as you dive deeper, and is determined only by the Nitrox oxygen concentration and depth. The human body exhibits a rejection reaction to large amounts of oxygen (oxygen toxicity), and the limit of the occurrence of this oxygen toxicity is PO2 = 1.6 ATA (absolute pressure). In the case of Cyber Aqualand Nx, the PO2 limit warning is activated and the PO2 display flashes when PO2 reaches 1.4 to 1.5. If PO2 reaches 1.6, a PO2 limit error occurs that causes the PO2 display to flash and an alarm to sound.
Q.	What is Oxygen Toxication Time(OTT)?
	A.	Oxygen toxication time is determined by the Nitrox oxygen concentration, depth and diving time. It refers to the time limit of oxygen toxicity. In the case of Cyber Aqualand Nx, a warning is activated when the oxygen toxication time becomes less than 10 minutes, and OTT time flashes on the watch. If the oxygen toxication time reaches 0 minutes, an error occurs, OTT time flashes 0 minutes and an alarm sounds.
Q.	Why does the alarm continue to sound when decompression diving during Nitrox diving?
	A.	Decompression diving especially in Nitrox diving is considered to be very dangerous. The DCIEM algorithm strictly prohibits decompression diving during Nitrox diving. Do not attempt decompression diving during Nitrox diving.
Q.	Can I switch the watch setting from Air to Nitrox while diving? Can I change the oxygen concentration setting of the watch while diving?
	A.	No. Always double check the oxygen concentration before every Nitrox diving and set it to the watch correcly.
	High-Altitude Diving
Q.	What is the difference between high-altitude diving and ordinary diving?
	A.	The amount of nitrogen accumulated in the body is directly proportional to the ambient pressure. Before diving at sea-level, the diver's body at an equilibrium state would have more nitrogen than that of a diver at high-altitude. Consequently, after doing exactly the same dive, the diver at high-altitude would need to release more nitrogen to return to the equilibrium state than the one at sea-level. Hence, in general, a shorter NDL time is displayed for high-altitude diving
Q.	How do I set the watch for high-altitude diving?
	A.	Cyber Aqualand Nx periodically detects air pressure and calculates the nitrogen pressure in the body as necessary. Since NDL time is determined by calculating nitrogen pressure in the body based on the nitrogen pressure calculated consecutively prior to diving, it is not necessary to set the watch for high-altitude diving.
Q.	What is the maximum altitude at which Cyber Aqualand Nx can be used?
	A.	Cyber Aqualand Nx is compatible up to an air pressure equivalent to an altitude of 3,000 m or 10,000 feet.
Q.	What height is defined as constituting high-altitude diving?
	A.	High-altitude diving refers to diving at an altitude of 300 m or higher. Since Cyber Aqualand Nx periodically measures air pressure, when it detects air pressure equivalent to an altitude of 300 m or higher, the high-altitude diving mark is activated on the display.
Q.	The high-altitude mark is activated even though I am not at a high altitude?
	A.	Cyber Aqualand Nx activates the high-altitude mark when it detects air pressure of about 980 hPa. This is equivalent to an altitude of 300 m when air pressure at sea level (0 m) is 1,013 hPa. When air pressure fluctuates continuously due to weather conditions and so forth, or when in a high-rise building when a low pressure system has developed, the watch may consider this to constitute a high altitude causing the high-altitude mark to light.
Q.	Is it all right to dive soon after having moved to a high altitude?
	A.	In general, after traveling to a high-altitude area, it takes up to 12 hours for the body to fully acclimatize, i.e. the body releases nitrogen until an equilibrium state is reached. The Cyber Aqualand Nx automatically takes regular pressure measurement and continues to calculate the nitrogen content. If the diver starts diving before reaching this equilibrium state, the excessive nitrogen in the body would further reduces the NDL time.
	Log Data
Q.	How many log data can Cyber Aqualand store?
	A.	A maximum of 100 sets of log data can be recorded for both scuba diving and skin diving (provided that the dive time of contents of log data for a single dive is within 2 hours and no more than 15 dives are made in a single day.)
Q.	When the watch is completely discharged, will the log data be deleted?
	A.	No. Since Cyber Aqualand uses a flash memory to store the log data, it will not be deleted.
Q.	If I perform the all reset procedure, are the log data deleted?
	A.	No, the log data will not be deleted. The settings of daily graphics, anniversaries, and travel locations will not be deleted, either. However, the current time will start from 12:00 am and alarm time will be reset. The total number of dives will also be reset to 1 so please be careful with this function.
Q.	The total number of dives in Scuba Log has returned to 1. Why?
	A.	The total number of dives is reset to 0 if the watch stops as a result of being insufficiently charged or when all-reset is performed. If you dive in this condition, the total number of dives of this dive will be 1. You can preset the total number of dives using CAPgm software provided with your watch.
Q.	Will diving logs be deleted when I perform flash memory formatting?
	A.	Yes, they will be deleted. All the log data as well as daily and anniversary graphics and the location settings made on the PC will be deleted. Please be aware that the manufacturer is not responsible for log data or other data having been lost as a result of a malfunction or other reasons.
Q.	Will diving logs be deleted when I perform garbage collection?
	A.	No, they will not be deleted. Since garbage collection is only performed to organize the contents of flash memory, there is no risk of deleting watch settings or diving logs.
Q.	Can I delete the log data?
	A.	When a new dive is made after 100 sets of dive data have already recorded for the total of scuba diving and skin diving log data, the oldest log data will be automatically deleted. However, you cannot delete the individual set of log data. You can delete all of the log data by formatting the flash memory. But by formatting the flash memory, all other setting data such as daily graphics, anniversaries, etc. will also be deleted. (The daily graphics, anniversaries, etc. will not be deleted as soon as the flash memory is formatted, but will be deleted when the date is changed.)
Q.	Some of the items in the log display flashes. Why?
	A.	The display flashes as a result of reference values being shown for dive time, out time, maximum depth, average depth and minimum water temperature when the log is no longer able to be recorded during diving due to the watch being insufficiently charged.
Q.	Scuba diving was recorded as Skin Diving Log.
	A.	Following two causes may be considered. 1.The watch battery is insufficient and the watch had changed to Low Power Mode within 3 minutes. 2. The MODE button is pressed continuously for 10 seconds and the dive mode is terminated intentionally during first three minutes of its dive.
