The ocean covers over seven-tenths of the planet.
Despite all the advancements of science, its depths
remain unexplored.

The ocean is not immune to destruction and climate
change. However, breath-takingly beautiful scenery
still exists. A symbol of possibility; of hope for the
future.

We spoke to divers and environmentalists around the
world. Their love of the ocean reminds us of its
beauty and mystery, and helps make us better
stewards of the natural world.

Connecting the ‘now’ of eight ocean sites, and
recognizing that all the oceans are one, can lead to a
better future.

PROMASTER has been the professional sports watch of choice for adventurers and explorers around the world for more than 30 years. In ‘Save the BEYOND,’ the global brand campaign that began in 2019, in conjunction with factual entertainment brand HISTORY^®,We looked at the threats facing the natural world through the eyes of the scientists and environmentalists who are battling to save it.

In 2020, the second year of the campaign, we will be highlighting eight of the best-known dive spots around the world. We will explore their natural beauty and the environmental challenges they face through interviews with local divers and conservationists.

Our navigator will be Rick Grehan. Rick, who planned and shot the 2019 ‘Save the BEYOND’ campaign, is a sustainable life activist with his own unique take on the oceans of the world.

The world’s great dive sites, the places that all divers dream of visiting, are scattered all over the planet. ‘CONNECTING 8 OCEANS’ will profile the eight dive sites featured on the trim ring of the PROMASTER SATELLITE WAVE GPS Diver 200m. With three of the sites—Phuket, the Great Barrier Reef, Galapagos, we will be interviewing locally active and deeply knowledgeable divers and environmentalists.

*We selected eight of the most popular dive spots from the ‘100 Best Destinations for Diving and Snorkelling’ on Tripadvisor, the world’s largest user-generated travel platform, and put them on the dial trim ring.
